ECU Cupola

The cupola is probably the most recognizable thing on ECU's campus, other than Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium. The structure is built up from halftone dots over spray paint, bits of newspaper, and loose washes of purple and gold. It looks right from across the room, but there's a lot going on in that background when you get close to it. This piece is special to me since the cupola was placed while I was a student there.

Gallery Wrapped Canvas

Canvas prints have 1.5" thick high-quality gallery wrapped canvases (staples are hidden on the back rather than the sides) with wooden stretcher bars. I don't use those compressed paper stretchers that you find in cheap canvas frames. pH neutral and acid-free canvases will not yellow over time. All this is to give you a quality product constructed to last for many decades.

Fine Art Paper

Paper prints are printed on Premium Archival Smooth Matte Fine Art Paper. The paper supports accurate color reproduction and high-contrast, high-resolution output, and is acid-free for a longer print life with pigment inks. It features a heavyweight (230 gsm), and an instant-dry coating that resists fingerprints and smudging.

What size paper print will fit my frame?

Keep in mind the "Size" you select is based on the visible image size. Here are some examples:

You have an 11x14 frame with a mat for an 8x10 photo - you would buy an 8x10 print since that is the size of the image that will be visible inside the mat.
You have an 11x14 frame and do not want the borders visible - you'll buy an 11x14 print and then trim the border to fit.
You have an 11x14 poster frame and you want to display the border with the title of the piece - you would order an 8x10 because it is actually 11x14 with the border.
